For over 40 years the Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre has been a central hub for the community; hosting events, classes, and gatherings for young and old.
Concerts are held regularly in our auditorium (which is also a popular hire with locals looking for an awesome party venue), classes and activities are held in our various activities rooms, and our bi-monthly markets which take over the entire centre (including the beautiful Shire Clerk’s Cottage) keep going from strength to strength!
As one of Wynnum’s most prominent not-for-profit organisations, we are proud to serve our community. Staffed wholly by volunteers, every cent raised goes towards keeping the centre open to ensure we can continue providing a wide range of activities and entertainment for members.

AuditoriumTai Chi School of Gentle Exercise's motto: Everyone is different. I literally teach people aged from their teens up to their 90s, male and female. People who are quite fit and people who aren't so fit. People who are quite healthy and some who have serious health issues.
